Refinery turnaround valve supply
180 critical-service valves engineered, supplied, installed and commissioned inside a 21-day shutdown window — with sour-service materials on the hot end and zero punch items at handover.
A 21-day hydroprocessing turnaround left no margin for re-work. The operator needed sleeve plug and high-performance butterfly valves — fully certified, sour-service rated where the process demanded it — and a single partner who could carry the scope from spec walkdown all the way through field commissioning.
Replace 180 valves across utilities and hot-end process inside a fixed 21-day shutdown — with NACE MR0175 sour-service materials on critical isolation and zero room for slippage on long-lead items.
Engineering-led: a 3-day walkdown to verify every line, a single OEM-direct proposal from Crane / XOMOX, and pre-staging at the plant warehouse 4 weeks before Day 1 of the shutdown.
All 180 valves delivered, installed and commissioned on schedule. Refinery returned to full production 3 days ahead of the original turnaround plan. Zero punch items related to Cosmos scope.

RFQ to handover
Cosmos showed up to the walkdown with the engineer who wrote our proposal — not a salesperson. That continuity from RFQ through commissioning is what made the turnaround land on schedule.
