How we delivered
180 valves in 14 weeks
Major hydroprocessing refinery planning a 21-day turnaround needed 180 sleeve plug and high-performance butterfly valves replaced across utilities and process — fully certified, with sour-service materials on critical isolation, and zero room for slippage in the schedule.
Cosmos engineers ran a 3-day walkdown to verify line specs, then issued a single engineering proposal with OEM-direct supply from Crane / XOMOX. Pre-staging at the plant warehouse began 4 weeks ahead of shutdown so field crews could install on Day 1 of the turnaround window.
All 180 valves delivered, installed, and commissioned within the 14-week window. Zero punch items related to Cosmos scope at handover. Refinery returned to full production three days ahead of the original turnaround schedule.
